Well....I have a few questions for you.  Let's have some Christmas FUN!!

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

(1) What the ONE thing you want most of all this Christmas?

(2) What is the one thing you are probably going to get, that you wish you wouldn't?

(3) If you had $100 to give to someone this Christmas (other than yourself), who would you give it to and why?

(4) What is on your Christmas tree this year?

(5) Honestly, which do you like better...giving or receiving?

(6) If Christmas colors weren't green & red, what colors would you want them to be?

(7) Do you have a favorite Holiday tradition?  If so, what is it?  If not, what tradition would you like to start (or why not)?

Put your answers in the comments.

1. A harp. I didn't say I was actually going to get one...I would need about $3000. But, I am going to rent one next year and start taking lessons. There's always NEXT year, right? wish me luck...

2. Useless "dust collector" items. Or "teacher" stuff w/ nappy apples on them! Either one, I think I might actually vomit. Just b/c your a teacher doesn't mean you like apple junk!

3. To my mother & father. Give them a "date" night...dinner, movie, and maybe a massage for my mom.

4. Can you guess already? Blue ornaments, white/silver homemade bows! there is a small blue jingle bell ornament @ the top...love it!

5. Giving gifts and wrapping them. It's my absolute FAV!!

6. blue & silver.

7. Going to St. Charles w/ my in-laws. Every year, they go. We see who can get the most for their $5. There are carolers, homemade candies, and lil old shops lining the streets...very cool, and great time to spend w/ the family!

~there's mine. Can't wait to see yours!

(1) I do want a Wii Fit. But I didn't ask for it. All the stuff altogether would be too expensive. AND we don't need video games in the house while Ty is going through pilot training. So... I'm settling for a food processor... and maybe the Twilight soundtrack.

(2) Hmmm... I don't know. Ty's family is all about getting you what you ask for. So I don't think I'll have any of that this year.

(3) This is a hard question. I'd want to give it to Ty, but he doesn't need it. Probably my friend, Jane. Her husband lost his job a year ago and hasn't found anything since...

(4) Lights. Its a foot and a half tall... I don't think its made for ornaments.

(5) I like giving to the people I love... or to people who are in need.

(6) Blue and red!

(7) Growing up, we would always have a big family breakfast together. Then we would clean the house up (Christmas for mom), and then read Luke 2 as a family, and then open presents. It made for a long morning. As we got older, we'd sleep in longer bc we didn't care. But it usually made Christmas "morning" last til 2-3 in the afternoon.

1. Most of all I would like to get a new car...not gonna happen, but I wish!

2. I will probably get jewelry that I won't like...

3. If I had $100 to give, I would give it to the Toys for Tots organization and get toys to donate for them...

4. On our Christmas tree are lots of ornaments from our childhood and a couple of new ones for Evan. I'm hoping to get him a new one each year that signifies something of importance from the year.

5. I love giving! (Maybe too much as my hubby would say!)

6. If they weren't green and red, I would want them to be blue and white OR purple and gold. :)

7. Favorite holiday tradition is getting new pj's every year from my parents and attending my side of the family's huge Christmas Eve party.

1) Well, a couple of weeks ago I kind of half-mindedly told Tamara I wanted a guitar for Christmas. It would be AWESOME to have a guitar (acoustic), but I'm not expecting it at all. Oh, and both Harry Potter 6 and Star Trek on DVD (special editions...I love extra features).

2) I honestly don't know. My little sister, who's buying for Tamara and I, has been well-coached on what we want. My parents always give good gifts, and Tamara is amazing at getting things I don't expect but absolutely love. She hasn't given me a gift I haven't loved. So no idea to this one.

3) My sister and her family, who are moving not of their own choice and could use some help. I like Tamara's idea of a date night. Or my sister who's moving to New Hampshire for 10 months on an internship. Or my wife, who would then of course spend it on me.

4) Same as last year, done by Tamara, and it looks very classy.

5) Yes.

6) Red and gold. Or Red and silver. Or green and silver. or green and blue (in a neat way).

7) Driving around with the family, looking at the best-decorated homes in town while singing Christmas carols. Love it. Also love watching "Scrooge" (with Albert Finney) on Christmas Eve.
