Christmas Goodies
What is your FAVORITE thing to eat @ this time of year? The ONE thing that you absolutely could NOT do without? Something that calls your name.....?
My favorite is the potatoes. Either sweet potatoes w/ a pecan topping OR a delightful twice baked potato recipe that has QUICKLY become my new FAVORITE dish! But really....plain ol mashed taters & gravy will do fine, too. Can't live w/o the taters!!!! :)
So there are a lot of candidates here: candy, cookies, ham, mashed potatoes, rolls, and so on. But my fave, the thing I can't resist if it's in front of me, are candied walnuts. It's a recipe by grandma used to make, and my mom made them this year- they are to die for.
